I am in the process of completing the SSCS1 form for my son. What happens if he manages to get some supported employment during the time we are waiting to hear from the appeals centre? Do you send any further evidence with the SSCS1 form or do you wait to hear from them?

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
I assume this is for ESA.
In regard to the appeal, his working will not have any effect as the panel are only looking at how he was on the day that the Decision being appealed was made. However, if he wins then the work may affect the award and if he works for 16 hours or more a week then it will preclude him receiving ESA.
It's up to you as to what you include with the SSCS1, if you are going to provide a submission for the hearing then I would only provide your basic reasons for the appeal if you are not then you will need you to go into more detail and supply evidence as you can.
Have a look at our ESA Appeal guides and the MR & Appeal document has a worked SSCS1 form that may help with yours.
