Letter send from DWP to my doctor was created by Paul
I was assessed on 12th June for WRAG. I received a letter informing me I had not got the benefit later that month 24th June. Mandatory reconsideration failed in July. I started an appeal and received a text from the DWP on 7th August acknowledging I was taking this case to an appeal and they had 28 days to send their case to the courts and to me. (It took more that 28 days for me to their "case")

I sent (scanned) my first fit note to them on 3rd August, back dated to June.

On the 1st September my doctor received a letter informing him I was assessed on 1st on September (incorrect) it was June 12th

It continued to say I not entitled to ESA from 24th June and you (the doctor) do not need to provide any more fit notes to him (me) relating to his disability/health condition for ESA purposes.

The DWP know I am sending in fit notes now due to making an appeal and I receive a letter from them informing me I need a new one when the time is running out on the current fit note.

Is this a new tactic? They are telling the Doctor not to provide me with fit notes as they deem me fit for work, but at the same time sending me letters saying they need a new fit note or your money stops!

Thank you for any help

This letter is standard for Fit for Work Decision on a new claim for ESA, it does say "do not need to" rather than "should not" and I believe there is also a reference to supplying Fit Notes during an appeal.
