PIP tribunal was created by Mickey
Hi everyone
Had my PIP tribunal yesterday, OMG worst day of my life. Felt like I was on trial. Worse than my face to face assessment 18 months ago
I was grilled and talked at not talked to. I was not given much of a chance to answer questions fully as the judge kept abruptly cutting me off and moving on with more drilling! They didn’t ask some questions at all which I would of expected like my daily routine?? They didn’t even ask about my mobility which is a big part of my disability??And asking for specific dates from when I applied 18 months ago!! Dates I could no longer remember specifically.
I was penalised for having worked part time at the time of my application and I was penalised for having a car which I did say I hardly ever drive. Even though my disabilities don’t affect driving.
The whole process was absolutely awful I was crying the whole way through due to my anxiety but that was disregarded ,I was in for 1 hour. They were very abrupt with me and kept trying to make out I was lying despite my doctors letter of support and Medicals. I was not given a decision I was told it would arrive on the post and to be honest I don’t feel good about it, I can’t even sleep with worry cos if it’s a bad result I have no idea what I will do as i have been unable to work now.

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

I have had to move your post, you replied to a post from over three years ago!

You should receive the Tribunal's Decision by the end of the week,

Hopefully, you will be but if you are not successful then you can make a new claim for PIP immediately, there is no waiting time.

Also, if you don't think that you have received the award you hoped for then if your conditions have deteriorated since the Decision that you appealed then you can notify the DWP of a Change of Circumstances. However, you should only do this if you can reasonably see how you would score the extra points you need for a higher award as reporting a Change will result in a full reassessment of your claim and the resulting Decision will supersede the Tribunal's, whatever it is.

Thank you so much for the info.
If I don’t get the result I want, woukd u say the best option is to reapply or make a change of circumstances ( not sure which would be best).

If your appeal is unsuccessful then you can re-apply.

If you receive an award but not what you hoped for and you can now show that you meet the criteria for a higher one, then you can report a Change.
