Ok
As i have already posted i asked for my ESA F to F to be recorded. I was told over the phone no recording equipment was available for the date of my F to F assessment and was told over the phone i would be contacted soon.
2 days later i got a letter saying my F to F would now be recorded but appointment date was still the same and i got a text today (23rd Nov) reminding me of my appointment on the original date when i was told recording equipment was not available for that date. I will phone them a few days before the date to make sure it is still same actual date.
My question is this. If my F to F is still on the same date and as letter said now to be recorded. What happens if i get to my F t F appointment but there is no recording equipment set up like they said it would be?
I am also stressing out a little bit because i cannot get anyone to attend with me on the day.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

You can push Maximus to book a new appointment at no fault to you but the bottom line is that you have no legal right to require the assessment is recorded and the DWP have said that they will not accept a failure to record as Good Cause for not attending an assessment.
If this is your first appointment then the appointment being re-booked, even if Maximus don't take ownership of the reason, will not be a problem but if it is the second then it could be as yu are only allowed to move the appointment once.

I phoned the number in the leaflet to first ask for recording.
Thanks Karl.

You need to ring the office where your appointment is, their number should be on the appointment letter.

Just 1 last question for now Gordon.
I know i am thinking ahead of my assessment and thinking a bit negative but.
A friend of mine who had his ESA F to F and was (in their words) fit for work and got his MR turned down and now going through appeal, He as you know had to claim UC while on appeal he was told that if he went to his doctors for a sick note he had to get a sick note that had nothing to do with his disability as he was found fit for work on those grounds of disability and had to get a sick note for another illness. Is this right?
