Esa3 has arrived, I am on cont based esa since incapacity transfer. Could do without filling in another 45 page form if I dont have to, especially with all pip stuff hanging over me. Am I right in thinking that if pension is more than £16 a week then its not worth applying please? Also can you ask for an extension? there is only a short time to fill it in, I don't bank online and don't have 6 years of original paper bank statements to send, the bank charges £10 each for duplicates and I might not get anything, will they accept just a few from this year? all help gratefully received. Thank you

I can't say without an understanding of your personal circumstances, the minimum payment assuming no deductions is about £16 per week but at the other end, it could £100s.

The easiest thing to do is to put your information into one of the online benefit calculators as an ESA(IR) claim and see what it thinks you would receive.
