PIP review - home assessment was created by RobynC
I have a face to face assessment after filling in a PIP review form. I was offered a home visit without asking - I have MH conditions. Can you point me to the best resource on B & W to prepare for the assessment? Last time I had a face to face I scored 0 because I appeared totally fine. It was an automatic 'compliance' so I want to avoid that and show how I really am - quite disabled. The form I filled in has 'Mixing with other people' where I would score highly, but here you have the form which says 'Engaging face to face' (or similar) and I'm not sure how to prepare specifically. Thanks.

Our PIP Claim guide has sections on the assessment and the questions you are likely to be asked.

Thanks Gordon. I found it confusing with the forms being different the review form I filled in is different from the current form. But we got it sorted with help from the guide.
However - phone call within an hour before the appt time to cancel - assessor unwell.
Question 1. Can my husband claim compensation for time off work to support me? He will have to take time again when the appt actually happens.
Question 2. If THEY cancel again, does my form go back to DWP?
Thanks

You will need to make a complaint

ATOS (IAS)

The assessment Provider cancelling an appointment should not count against you and your two opportunities to attend.
