Recently I reported a 'change of circumstances' that related to an improvement in my arthritis and since I also have been in receipt of the 'care' component, I asked for the Mobility component (only) to be looked at again as a result. Although I no longer (after 25 years!) have a service from my mental health trust (I chose to get out because I felt their input was becoming more harmful rather than helpful), my GP remains the same. I am presently being funde by my CCG for three times a week analytical psychotherapy as an alternative to mental health trust treatment/support. My question is, since my GP hasn't changed, do I need that my 'service' provider in the form of a private psychoanalyst has changed as above? When the rules say 'change of doctor' needs to be reported, what kind of doctor are they referring to?
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it? I've no idea why changing your doctor is on the list but I don't think you need to tell them about your Psychoanalyst unless they are one of the names that you have included previously as a medical contact.
