i am elligable for support group was created by bigbird
i recently had an atos medical and asked for it to be recorded, but after the medical when i checked the cd given it was blank,i contacted atos who said no others had had this happen on the same day,so i asked for the doctors report and was appalled at what was written,he must have interviewed some one else because half of the stuff i said was not written down and what was written did not give a fair and frank view it was watered right down to give the wrong view of what i said,so i have placed in the wrag group, but he has stated on the report that he has significant difficulty conveying a simple message to strangers which i understand by the descriptors is a 15point score should this be enough to get me into the support group i am in the process of appealing as he seems to have taken no notice of the written evidence he had infront of him in both the esa50 form and letters from my medical records regards bigbird

Based on your post, the ATOS assessors comment corresponds to descriptor 6b, whilst this does score 15 points, it does not correspond to a Support Group descriptor, for this to be the case they would have had referred to "6a. Cannot convey a simple message, such as the presence of a hazard".

With regard your appeal, please be aware of the following

Is there any risk to challenging a decision?

How long do I have to appeal?

How to submit an appeal

Qualifying for the Support Group

Disability Rights UK Factsheet - Appeals and reconsiderations

12 Month Limit for ESA(CB)

Do I have to attend WFIs while I appeal?
