Hi if you claim for your wife as a dependant while on IB and migrate to ESA can you still claim dependants allowance for your wife regards Carol

No and Yes :)

There is no equivalent to Dependants Allowance within ESA, however, if you are successfully transferred, then you will not be paid less than you were under IB, so you would likely receive a Transitional Payment to make up any difference.

What will I be paid?

You do need to aware of the following

12 Month Limit for ESA(CB)
