Providing they have stated that they believe that you walking is limited to less than 20m and not that you have told them that this is case, then I think it will be fine.

Although the days that you are affected and this should not be ignored, the critical thing is to establish walking distance as this is the first thing that the DM looks at.

hi Gordon my doctors leter states exactly.He has an ongoing history of chronicpain in both of his hips (the right one having been replaced14 years ago ) and has osteoarthritis of his left hip after perthes disease as a boy he also gets pain in multiple joints,and has polymyalgia rheumatic for wich he attends rheumatology and is prescribed prednisolone in addition he also has intermittent attacks of gout he also complains of morning stiffness and his pain does not realy go away with his analgesics he uses a walking stick,and does walk very slowly and has to stop every few minutes to get his breath back his maximum distance on a good day is just less than 20 meters.He does struggle to walkand also has problems with activities of everyday life.He attendsthe surgery about every month or two and uses a taxi to get here.The journey time is only about 5 minutes by car.but he would have problems walking thisfar.He also has type 2 diabetes.hypertension and carpal tunnel syndrome,which also impacts on his activities and also has a problem with both shoulders,this did improve when he was on high dose steroids but has now got worse again.Sorry for putting this all down again Gordon but just want to make sure it is alright before submiting it or whether i should go back to the doctor what i have posted is the doctors words and not mine please advise regards George

I can't make decisions on what you should or should not include, this has to be something that you are happy with, that said I see nothing wrong with what you have posted :)

Hi Gordon i have just received the assesors report, when writing to the dwp for a MR do i explain what i dissagree with about the report and include medical evidence regards George

You need to address any serious error in the report but you will only receive an increased award by showing that you meet the criteria for one, so this should be the focus or your efforts.

Hi Gordon, just a little queery do i have 28 days from the date i received my pip award or the date i phoned to ask for a MR which was 3 days after i received it as i got it on the friday and as it being the weekend it was the monday i made the call regards George
