They will, my point was that there is no value in doing an MR just for increased points for your DL award.

You need to sort this out in your own mind, there's no point in your asking for an MR unless you can reasonably explain how you should score higher.

There is a risk, it doesn't happen very often but you need to consider this as part of your decision as to whether to request an MR.

What's irritating is that the outcome letter states 'We can still pay you [standard DL], as though you're being done a favour by maintaining what you had before and should be grateful for that. I know this is standard wording, but it's patronising, with the subtext 'don't appeal, 'cos you've got something'. Ridiculous!
