PIP mandatory review failed yesterday, HELP was created by Inneedofhelp
Hi
My son 22 with Autism and ADHD only functions on his medication and it only lasts 8 -10 hours which enable him to stay employed. Applied for PIP in and have only be recognised with 1 point for his dyslexia. anyway there has been a change in circumstances since the original submission and the MR failed yesterday. My instinct was to appeal, or can I ask for a second mandatory review due to the new situation which will cause him additional costs in the future because of his medication not lasting long enough for the domestic part of his life.
I understand the Appeal wont consider new evidence
Your advice please.

Hi Inneedofhelp

Welcome to the forum.

You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum.

You cannot ask for a second review, the next stage would be to appeal the decision.

If there is a change of circumstances since your son was last assessed then you will need to make a new claim, we would advise you to seek help from your local Welfare Rights Organisation advicelocal.uk where they can take all your circumstances into consideration when giving you advice.
