Over 500 charities, including Citizens Advice, Mencap and Action for Blind People are vying to help private sector companies move sick and disabled claimants into work.

Given the levels of sanctions against claimants who fail to do as instructed by private sector staff, and the large number of sick and disabled claimants being found fully fit for work, there is deep concern amongst some at the involvement of so many charities.
