The Work and Pensions Select Committee has today announced an evidence session with the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions on the DWP Annual Report and Accounts 2012-13.{jcomments on}

The issues to be discussed are likely to include:

  • Trends in benefit expenditure
  • Implications for DWP expenditure of announcements in the Spending Round and the Autumn Statement 2013
  • Costs of Universal Credit implementation, including IT expenditure and the new digital solution
