An open public meeting to discuss the Government’s plans to replace Disability Living Allowance with Personal Independence Payment is being held by the Work and Pensions Committee in Neath on 22 November 2011.

The purpose of the meeting is to find out the public’s views of the Government’s policy and to report any concerns back to the Minister for Disabled People.

Dame Ann Begg, Chair of the Committee, referred to the meeting as “an opportunity for people to express their concerns directly to us.”

Details of the meeting can be found on the parliament website.
