A Guardian reporter who has written a detailed and highly critical article about the work capability assessment, the medical test for employment and support allowance, would like to be invited to your medical.

Amelia Gentleman, winner of an Amnesty International Human Rights press award, has attended one WCA and in responding to comments on her article, posted:

“I'd absolutely like to sit in on anyone's WCA.
“Email me direct if there's anyone who would like to invite me!

The article, entitled ‘The medical was an absolute joke’ was well researched and worth a read.  If any Benefits and Work readers have a WCA coming up in the near future, perhaps you’d like to consider dropping Amelia an email and asking her along.
