Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: My illnesses are dynamic & what I can do one day, I can't do the next. I struggle daily to dress, use the shower & to prepare & cook food. My spine is loose & too much movement disturbs it. I have brain fog & forget my pills I forget things I have cooking & I can be a danger due to fire risk. I faint because of pots & end up injured. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: This would have a devastating effect, my husband would also lose his carers allowance & we would really struggle to make ends meet. |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I was self employed & I loved my job but as my illnesses kicked in & I kept having to take time off Ill, I had to give in & stop working due to all these conditions becoming worse over time. |
Anything else to tell us: For the government to target the most vulnerable in society, is cruel, unessesary & damn right disgraceful! It's difficult enough to get pip as it is, we are treated like criminals lying about our conditions. It's very traumatising having to go through a pip assessment & prove you are not lying about being ill. |
