PIP or DLA

I am afraid, as of today, there is no way for use to give a definitive answer.

From a legal standpoint you should be assessed for PIP, but the DWP have said that they only intend to process transfers in certain parts of the country, the present "map" is on the following link, we expect the area to expand as more assessment services come online

Any PIP transfers will be initiated some 20 weeks in advance of the DLA renewal, so they will have until some time in March to decide whether your area will be included.

Also, it not clear at this time whether DLA claimants not in a PIP transfer area, with a fixed term award, will be re-assessed for DLA or whether their existing award will be extended.
