ESA Support group with no review date

My wife has recently been moved from SDA to ESA Support Group without a medical or face to face interview but after completing an ESA50. She suffers from learning difficulties as well as physical disabilities. She was on SDA for 17 years and received DLA mobility and care components for the same period on an "indefinate" award.
There was no review date or period given on the ESA award letter from DWP yet I hear that other claimants are getting review dates or periods with their letters. Does anyone know the significance of review dates or lack of them?

ESA is an indefinite award with regular re-assessment, as it is not part of the Decision, the re-assessment date is not normally included on the Decision letter.
You can find out when your wife will likely be re-assessed by contacting the DWP, the date should be on the computer system, failing that request a copy of the ESA85A medical report, the prognosis is usually used to set the next assessment date, you can do this over the phone or in writing.

Thank you for that. Will do. Also please thank all those at B&W for the terrific guides you produce. They were so helpful to us when completing the forms. We would have been lost without them. Thanks again.
