They haven't asked me for a 'medical' so far. I had to send my form in by 30th September. Can anyone say how long it usually takes /may take them to ask a person in for a 'medical' if they are going to do so?

I'm afraid that is one of those "how long is a piece of string" questions.

There are no time constraints on the DWP or ATOS to complete the assessment process.

Once you are sure that ATOS have received the ESA50 by the deadline date given, the ball in firmly in their court.

You IB payments will continue until a decision is made.

Many members have waited several months before hearing anything after returning their ESA50.

Recently, members have been reporting longer periods with respect to the above.

ATOS/DWP do seem to be in gridlock at this time.
