Another London Radio Talk Show more anecdotal assertions from Callers on Benefit. This morning one of them claimed that it was possible to "Ban"Claimants from claiming ESA,Benefit and other Benefits for set periods of 6 months, 1 year and so on up to 3 years? I have never heard of this is it true? And for what reasons? Thanks,

There are restrictions on payment for a claim made within six months of a Fit for Work Decision, but there is no mechanism for "banning" a claimant from ESA.
