HI well waiting for 6mths for a reply to the esa form we filled in,hubby now has to go for a
medical on the 22 jan, hubby suffers with depression ,he is also a carer for me,
he is now well work up over this, how do we satnd if they find him he can work.
he is scared and upset ,i cannot be left alone,he has middle rate care ,so will they look into that as well.hope you can understand this,

You/your hubby might find it helpful to know what to expect at the ATOS assessment. If your husband should be found fit for work he can appeal (after a mandatory reconsideration). We will help you deal with that if/when it happens.

ESA Medical – What to expect

Any ESA decision should not affect DLA is they have different criteria. Specifically being found fit for work should not affect it as you can receive DLA and work.
