DLA Renewal was created by suzyb
My friend is on DLA and it is due for renewal. She has received a form today for a renewal which says on it.
DLA ADULT January 2013.
Do we have any information guides for the renewal forms, as I am unable to see any.

Hi suzy,
Renewals are not treated any differently from new claims and the forms are the same. Therefore the claim guides are appropriate.

Regretfully, due to DWP staff shortages, lack of training etc. etc. some DLA claimants with limited awards are still not being sent invitations to claim PIP, and are continuing to be paid DLA.
Crazydiamond and I predicted this situation over a year ago and it's proved to be true.
The word 'chaos' comes to mind.

Yes Jim Chaos indeed, however it is probably in the claimants best interest to continue with DLA as the PIP criteria at least appear to be more stringent.
