Who sends the esa50 to us ?

I have a question that the MODS may have the answer to, as a final decision is made by a DM at the dwp that puts us in a group and gives a prognosis time period until the next assesment.

Who generates the next assesment esa50 to be sent out, do the dwp inform atos so they have a date to send out the esa50 or are the esa50 sent directly from the dwp with a return address of atos so they then deal with the esa50 on the dwp behalf.

Hi Dq,

The reassessment process is supposed to go as follows :

1. Your ESA reassessment date is flagged up to The DWP WCA Team.

2. The DWP WCA Team re-refer you to ATOS.

3. ATOS issue the ESA50.

4. ESA50 returned to ATOS by the deadline date.

5. ATOS carry out an assessment with or without the need for a F2F.

6. ATOS return your file to The DWP DM.

7. DWP DM makes a decision and informs the claimant in writing.
