I am very concerned . About the prospect of a face to face interview for pip. I have severe mental illness and I am unable to engage with people and I have little insight into my condition.my doctor believes I am in danger of relapse if I have to go to one. I thought. If you produced robust medical evidence and itv would be too distressing for the claimant you might get away with it. My doctor is going to w Ritter a report and also a letter relating to the descriptors sand how they affect me. What are my chance s of not having one do you think? Marnie

Hi M,
It depends on whether your assessment is being carried out by ATOS or Capita.
Capita are carrying out nearly all F2F assessments in the home, whereas ATOS seem a lot more reluctant to do so.
The more compelling the letter of support that you have from your G.P., the better.
