ESA50 - Question on the 'it varies' tick boxes

Hi.

Re ESA50, just need to clarify a few things in relation to the B&W ESA physical guide.

When it comes to answering 'it varies' in the form, weight is only given to those who answer, say, 'the majority of the time' (for example four days a week you cannot carry out a task)?

By answering "it varies"you are saying that you are always affected but the degree to which you are affected can change, so as a general rule you need to consider how you are for the majority of the time, but you should include details of how you are the rest of the time so that the assessor cannot make assumptions, so as an example; I cannot mobilise more then 50m for four days a week, for the other three I cannot mobilise more than 100m.

You are not required to use the tick boxes so if "it varies", or any of the other options, do not fit with the way you want describe your limitations then don't use them, simply mark the area "see below" and explain in your own way in the comment box or any attached sheets.
