Hi Michele You can still appeal your decision and you do not need to go to the hearing if you do not wish to , you can have a paper hearing The Tribunal will send you a letter with 3 options
1/ You do not wish to proceed with the appeal
2/ Oral hearing, where you go to the hearing
3/ Paper hearing, were you send your submission and any extra evidence
But as Gordon said, what ever you are deciding to do, try to work on explaining your limitations and restrictions rather than the condition itself hope this helps
