esa to jsa was created by thesearcher
as we all know it takes a while for the esa to get sorted out , however a query ,

if esa was refused after 4 months and you are returned to jsa ,

and the jsa payment was higher than the esa payment

can you ask for the money that was short on the esa payment

Depending on your circumstances, JSA is paid at the same rate as ESA or less, but even if there was a discrepancy, you cannot ask for the difference, they are separate benefits.
