Good afternoon, I have been in the ESA Support group for just over 12 months after using the brilliant information on this site. At the time (12 months ago) I had to ask them to look at their decision again which they did, following which I received a phone call and letter putting me in the Support Group for 2 years.
We have noticed that the last payment (last week) shows on bank statement as JSA - all previous payments have shown as EESA. Just wondered if anybody else had noticed this. Don't really want to put my head over the parapet and ask them.

The ESA payment system is piggy backed onto the JSA one, so when an ad hoc payment is made, unless the DWP remember to change the qualifier, it defaults to JSA.
I am guessing that your normal payment day is either a Friday or a Monday and was therefore effected by Easter and would have been paid early as a one-off payment, I would expect your next payment to be EESA again.
