DLA to PIP was created by Deborah
Hi. Will I still have to be accessed by PIP even though I have just had a successful review from DLA which included a full claims procedure and a visit from a doctor? I have a lifetime award . I know everyone will have to change over but will they really make me go through the whole nerve racking procedure again? :S

If you have an indefinite award of DLA then you will not be invited to claim PIP until after October 2015, however, as the assessment criteria for PIP are different from DLA this will at the least require you to complete a new claim form describing your day to day problems and most likely you will need to have a face to face assessment.
