Im so greatfull this site and forum has helped me sucessfuly recieve ESA SG contribution based for 3 years, after previously being on IB
my question now is as this now
my partner works part time with a aprox income on £440 pm and we recieve child benefit and child tax for our 3 children .
but now have to pay HB and CT
i was advised by C.A. that i should be entitled to income based ,
wouldnt i be better financially staying on Contribution based?

Hi C,
Great news about your ESA award, thanks for letting us know and for your kind words about B+W
Without full details of your financial circumstances (which it is not appropriate for us to have), it is impossible for us to tell whether you would be better off on IR or C ESA. You can try modelling your circumstances on a site such as turn2us, or you can see a CAB/welfare advisor and ask them to do a 'better off' calculation on your behalf.
