Hi I sent my ESA50 form back a few weeks ago with supporting letters from Neuro and specialist nurse.

Today my GP has rung to say she has been contacted by Atos.
Can you tell me if this is the norm please?

Hi J,

This can be a positive sign.

The DWP/ATOS generally only send out an : ESA 113 Questionnaire when they feel that you have a high level of disability, and that you may qualify for The SG.

Feedback indicates that ESA 113 Questionnaires are only sent out to G.P.'s in around 25% of all assessments.

If your G.P. has asked you to come in and discuss this, that is also a positive as you will have a chance to provide input.
