esa and specialist diagnosis letters was created by powlie
I am in the process of completeing the esa50 assessment form, which has to be returned by 10th June 2014.
My diagnosis is Degenerative spinal and right hip disease, spondyloarthropathy with known ulcerative colitis, and psoriasis, grade iv OA and patellofemoral OA with deficient ACL in my right knee. Grade ii OA and degenerative tear of meniscus in my left knee.
I regularly see rheumatologists, orthopaedic and gastroenterologist regularly.
i have recently required from my GP clinic letters from these specialists which states the above conditions.
I will send these letters in with my form.
In your opinion do you think i will still need to go for a ftf assessment.

Hi Powlie,

I'm afraid we have no way of knowing whether you will be required to attend a face2face assessment. Don't forget that it is not enough to prove that you suffer from various conditions, you must also show how these cause impairments that match the ESA descriptors.

It is taking many months for some of our claimants to hear anything after submitting the ESA50 form, I hope you get a more speedy response!
