Communicating with The DWP in writing.

As you know I am still trying to get my WRAG component re-instated having had zero ESA for 8 weeks now.
Stopping short of making an official complaint I am relying on them and giving them time to sort this out.
A DWP switchboard operator told me to write to a great big clearing office address in Wolverhampton if I wanted to write to Glasgow about this.
That was all.I am still waiting for a reply.
Most of the Freephone JC+ helpline phones connect to Newcastle for ESA enquiries,
Is it right that claimants cannot communicate directly with Glasgow now at all nor with an accounts and payments section anywhere within The DWP directly,at all?
Im wondering if I have done enough now to chase this up,short of the mal administration measures discussed earlier?
Is the JC+ any use here for getting The ESA WRAG paid?

It does seem difficult, if not impossible, to speak directly to anyone at DWP these days and I believe all mail goes via the clearing centre in Wolverhampton before being distributed around the country. I don't think your local JC+ will have any input into the payment of ESA, I'm afraid.

Mrs.HB,Well we're scuppered then. The situation is untenable. It appears no one Ive yet spoken to has either the authority nor the necessary knowledge and training to order payments.
This is a disturbing situation.Catch 22.The Brush off, pillar to post, turning a deaf ear, what puzzles me is it deliberately discouraging or is it incompetence?
Short of a full on official complaint in quadruplicate to MP,4 Regional Officials & The Ombudsman
it doesn't look Im going to get my money anytime soon.

One of the more experienced mod's might be able to suggest something.

I do hope so as Im too lazy to find all the addresses of the recommended officials to complain to that's if I can write to them individually?eg.DWP Regional Manager..............?
Its no fun being without ESA.Debt mounts up.
I don't need all this extra hassle on top of everything else eg the migration.
Who could have made a mistake and stopped it 6 months short of its expiry date?
Maybe weve got it wrong and you just don't get either WRAG or Personal Components under Sanctions now?

Hi J,

There are two links below with contact details for District Managers and Regional Managers, respectively :

www.gov.uk/government/publications/local...-with-jobcentre-plus

webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/+/htt...nagers-by-region.pdf

Obtained from this rightsnet post :

If the relevant person cannot deal with your complaint, you could request that they pass it on to The Complaints Resolution Team Manager for your area.

I really would consider contacting your M.P., they can be most helpful in expediting complaints :

Contacting your MP
