Hi All

Do you need 8 or more PIP points in one category to qualify or ca you add the points from different category's up ie 4 points for walking and for for personal care?

You need to score a total of 8 points or more across questions 1-10 for a Care award and a total of 8 points of more across questions 11-12 for a Mobility award, they are numbered differently on the actual PIP2 form.

You can only score one set of points for each question, the highest that you meet.

You cannot mix points from the Care and the Mobility section.
