ESA Assessment was created by Rubyred
Hubby last completed as ESA assessment form last August 2013.
He received a letter beginning of June this year to advise him of his assessment on June 11.

He attended and was told he would hear as soon as DWP had made their decision.

He received a letter on 20th June dated 17th June to say his claim for ESA would remain the same as before.

Is this the decision letter or is this just coincidence, spooky.
Either way it doesnt really matter theres nothing can be done about it unfortunately.

Just seems really strange that theres nothing from DWP for almost a year then so much its hard to make out whats what.

The system is backed up at the moment hence why there was a gap of several months between ESA50 and Medical. Luckily the DWP are not taking as long to make a decision, but then they usually just take Atos recommendation anyway. So, therefore, the letter you refer to is most likely a decision of the reassessment started in Aug. You say there's not much that can be done about it. If it is a WRAG decision and you are not happy with it you can ask for a Mandatory Reconsideration for him to be moved into Support Group.
