It is not unusual at the moment for claimants to be waiting a very long time for a decision, but your case seems a little different. In the absense of a decision letter then, to all intents and purposes, you have not had a decision. The only thing I can suggest is that you phone DWP and ask to speak to a supervisor. This will entail a call-back either later the same day or the next. The supervisors are usually better trained and more knowledgeable than the people who answer the phones and might be able to initiate the dispatch of a decision letter (if a decision has actually been made).
