Thank you Bro58 for this suggestion which makes sense, as I don't even know if I got in the support group through mental or physical grounds, or both. I have filled in the SAR but am hesitating about sending it off because:

I don't want to draw attention to myself or antagonise anyone

Don't I get a letter at some point anyway telling me the reasons for being put in the support group?

Looking for reassurance really

Yes, you should get a letter 'explaining' the decision. In reality, this doesn't actually tell you anything!
