Why does this appear on so many posts? I have sometimes felt that I have something to contribute to a question, but am unable to respond, which seems to defeat the object of having a forum. Could someone explain why this appears to be so often the case?
I suspect that you are reading the forum outside of our open hours. The forum can be read at any time but is only open for new posts between 2-4pm and 8-10pm on Monday - Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
If I have misunderstood and you are seeing this message at other times, please let me know.
ps - a few threads are closed by moderators as they are turning into general discussion, which is not appropriate in this forum, but this doesn't happen very often.
