Atos reply to ESA reassessment query

1. Given that the post delivery can be unreliable over the holiday period should I continue to check in with Atos to see whether a form has been sent out or do I assume that I am now in the deferment queue and stop worrying about the form being lost?
2. Atos contract ends in January I believe and Maximus start in March. Anyone know what happens in February?
The stress of getting a form is bad enough not knowing if/when one is going to appear now feels just as bad!

Hi s,
We have had a number of similar queries regarding this issue over the past week or so.
See : Here, & This Topic Thread.
I am afraid that there is little more that we can add.
As it is The DWP that issues the re-referrals to ATOS who then send out the ESA50's to the claimants, if you are still concerned, you could contact the DWP :
ESA PHONE NUMBER DWP : 0345 608 8545 Press Option 3 for ESA.
They may have your date for re-referral on their systems.

Hi s,
Logic would dictate that there shouldn't be any risk of your contact in itself instigating a re-referrals, but I could not 100% guarantee this.
The person that you speak to on the number that I provided, will only be a DWP Call Centre Call Responder.
They will ask a few security questions, then they will access your ESA file "on-screen".
They may then be able to confirm the date recorded on file for your re-referral to ATOS.
These Call Responders do not have the power themselves to initiate a referral or re-referral to ATOS.
The DWP ESA WCA Team based in the ESA Office that administers your ESA deal with those.
Of course, the decision is yours to make.
