DLA Renewal

I am currently in receipt of Higher rate care and mobility which ends in March '15. I have returned my renewal form and my circumstances are much the same as before, does anyone know what percentage of claims like this are given the same award as they have previously had?

My situation is unchanged since my previous claim (March '13).

Hi lb,

It totally depends on the DWP DLA Decision Maker that is dealing with your DLA renewal.

The important issue is that you have made it clear that your disabilities/limitation/care needs have not diminished and that you have given details of "how you are now".

We do not have any official statistics on this, but with regards to B&W Members, the majority have received positive awards with DLA renewals, and some decisions have been made very quickly.
