dasabled facilities grants

i wish to apply for the above to have a grant for a wet room to be built on to my existing property also is it also possible that i can also apply for living accomidation for my carer such as living room and bedroom to be submitted also for consideration under the disabled facilities grants due to the need for someone to assist me in going back and fore the toilet day and night i am concerned if i would be pealized if i take out my pension to help fund the above building project because the disabled facilities grant is means tested i recieve emplyment and support allowance at enhanced rate and i am in support group contribution based any advice would be appreciated in dealing with this matter thanks tommy
