DLA STARTED AGAIN was created by margaret
Hi just an up date re DLA .Won my second tribunal in November after 2 ans half years of suffering through this farce of testing that the coalition government believe, we the sick are not worthy to be on this planet,
haven't even had back pay yet and they have sent me out a the form to fill in all over again i am so worried that it is the start of another 2 -3 years for them to sort . i have now got more problems as broke my foot in July last year and hospital missed a break in my ankle which i now have arthiritis in, and so much pain cannot walk without aid of crutchers or some one with me

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

It usually takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal result, obviously Xmas will have extended this period but I would have thought you would have had some update about your back payments by now, it may be worth your contacting the DWP to find out what is going on.

You don't say how long the award made by the Tribunal was for, but any such award would have been made with effect from the date of the Decision that you appealed. Your post says it took 2 1/2 years to sort it out, so if you had a three year award then I would expect you to receive new forms about now.

Hi m,
I have looked at a previous post of yours' : Here.
From that, it appears that your fixed term DLA award is due to end in June this year.
It would not be uncommon to receive DLA renewal forms some 16-20 weeks before the end of a fixed term DLA award.
I assume that the renewal is for DLA and not PIP, as you are not living in an Active/Live PIP Area ? :
You can confirm this : Here.
See : DLA Changes and Renewals around a third of the way down : This Page.
