longterm illnesses - forever disabilities was created by capainFAIRY
I have been told that I have long term illnesses with forever disabilities I no longer really have any hospital/specialist intervention, my new GP manages my medication and I just get on with what I have been taught by pain clinics etc over the years. So, what do I do when I have to send in as much info as possible? may I use the last lot of correspondence (hospital, old GP) which went with the last form (DLA and ESA) although old by date still current in medical history etc or should I ask my new GP to write me a letter.
It worries me when a GP whose care you have been in for 10yrs plus leaves and then theres nothing, no actual understanding of long term issues.
Sorry to be a nuisance but my mind is racing and I need to get help to complete dummy run forms so I am ready for when the 'PIP day' comes.
Thank you

I'm afraid a lot of people are "parked" by the NHS, there should be no problem with you using old letters and reports, but be careful to emphasise that your conditions will not improve, don't assume that those reading them will make that conclusion on their own.

Gordon,
Benefits and Work have shown me in the past how to successfully fill in forms and explain that my health will not improve and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. But its the worry of it all that really gets to me and so many others. Thank you Gordon for doing what you do, so greatly appreciated.
