Hi,

Welcome to Benefits and Work :)

If your forum name is also your real name, you may wish to change it to maintain some anonymity.

This can be done quite easily by following the instructions on this FAQ :

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

Yes, your hubby will receive £72.40/Week Assessment Rate ESA until he has undergone The ESA Work Capability Assessment, (WCA) (which includes filling in and returning The ESA50) and receives a decision from The DWP.

Have you thought of : Using The PDF Version Of The ESA50 Questionnaire

Whilst referring to the guides on this page. (3rd & 4th Links down) :

ESA Claims Guides

You will also see a guide entitled "Understanding Employment and Support Allowance
Our 42 page introductory guide to ESA." 2nd link down the same page.

I feel that I must pre-warn you that we have several members who have been in The Assessment Phase for over a year without receiving a decision regarding their WCA.
