Btw this is just a hypothetical example so I can understand question and answers better.
Let's say for example someone has a mental health disorder and they see imaginary images of people killing eachother wherever he goes and this distresses him very much. Naturally making him work will increase his suffering and he might even be unable due to the psychiatric distress he is going through. Assume he sees these things most of the time.
This person wouldn't people able to say that his distress is caused by social engagement so that descriptor wouldn't apply to him.
Lets say he tries to endure his suffering and not talk about what he sees although he is in a lot of stress. His behaviours can't be considered inhibited/strange often as he is enduring everything he sees most of the time(suffering in silence). However he will say something infrequently as he can't hold it anymore.
In this case he does not display inhibited behaviour often enough to match that support group descriptor.
How does such a person get into the support group?
