Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

You are entitled to have someone with you during the assessment could a relative or friend you understands your problems sit in with you?

If you have a look at our PIP Claim guide there is a section towards the back that covers the assessment and the questions that you might ask, this might help you plan your responses in advance.

It may also help you if you have a look at the rest of the guide so you understand the criteria against which you are being assessed.

If you could prepare a short, perhaps no more than one side of A4, description of Fabrys Disease and it's symptoms, you could hand this to the assessor when they arrive and ask them to read it before proceeding with the interview.

If you have more questions, then please reply to this post and we will do our best to help.
