PIP award review was created by Debbie
Hi, I have been awarded pip until March 2016, but have received a claim form to review my claim. The form is the same as if I am making a new claim. Do I need to state in each section that I am still suffering with my many health conditions and therefore still require the help and assistance, or do I complete the form as if i'm making a fresh claim?

Hi D,

We always advise that you should treat all reviews/reassessments of DLA, PIP or ESA as if it was your first assessment.

There is no guarantee that the assessor will have access your previous assessment reports/s.

Whilst treating this as a new assessment, you could also draw attention to your existing award, and the fact that the limitations that affected you at the time of your previous assessment still exist, or have increased, whichever scenario is applicable.
