Hi like a lot of other folk I am in the support group via contributory ESA. Am I right in thinking that if the Tories get elected my benefit may stop? Also if you are working having paid into the system for 35 years or more you won't get JSA if you have a bit of savings? Bang goes my savings pot for myretirement as this will only last about 2 years and I'm 60 so got 6 years to go before state pension .

Hi A,
Abolishing Contribution Based (CB) ESA thus making all entitlement to ESA dependent on passing a means test is one of the potential cuts by the Tories that has recently been highlighted in the media.
