attending at the office re wrag was created by june cunningham
As you are aware my son has been told he will need to attend at the office instead of continuing with telephone interviews, so causing him added danger beacause of his uncontrolled epilepsy.
Would the dwp and prospects be obliged to conduct a risk assessment ? T hey are obliged to do so for their own staff so why should this not cover visitors to their office and the route to get there.

JC

I don't believe there is any requirement on the DWP to carry out a risk assessment in regard to your son, as previously posted your starting point is to raise the issues your son would have with their JC+ advisor, if you have done this without success then you should escalate the issue to their supervisor.

regarding this matter we were told that Andrew did not have to attend the office and that the person responsible for putting him through all the stress and taking away this right to class telephone interviewing as an adjustment had been sacked and telephone contact was ok.
